Vivian is a Cali-raised, Brooklyn-based, Taiwanese-American tattoo artist and illustrator. She studied illustration at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena and worked professionally as an illustrator and art director for nearly a decade before leaving the design and advertising industry to immerse herself in the world of contemporary tattooing.
Vivian’s work is inspired by dreams, introspection, and the connection between human and nature. Blending delicately textured shading, flowing lines and blackwork, She brings surrealism and storytelling elements into her illustrative tattoos.
She believes in the art of tattooing as a form of therapy. A way to express yourself, reclaim your body, and a root of healing, just like the ginseng root.
